Wood chips are timber cut into small pieces and sold as an industrial raw material. The chips are about 3–4 cm in size.
The chips are graded 1 to 3 by the share of on-spec chips, with limits on bark, rotten wood and size fractions. The spec does not allow burnt wood, metal or foreign matter. Wood species and detailed spec are to order.
