Banyuwangi red durian (Indonesian: Durian Merah) comes from Banyuwangi regency in East Java, Indonesia. Unlike ordinary durian, its flesh is red or orange; the husk is yellowish green and the taste is sweet with some bitterness. Balqis is one registered red-durian variety from the area.

Durian is bought at the orchard and brought to a grading warehouse, where the fruit is sorted by size, checked for ripeness and tested for sweetness before it is boxed. We prepare each order to the fruit size you specify.
