The giant freshwater prawn (Macrobrachium rosenbergii) is a freshwater species. The second pair of walking legs carries very long claws, with a blue tint in adult males. The prawns are processed, graded and frozen in the style you specify.
Unlike black tiger and whiteleg shrimp, giant freshwater prawn is usually sold in large sizes and counted per kg. The other two are separate products.
